Ok, I'm wanting to start making a an Haunted Mansion Halloween Costume. I'm trying to decide which ghost would be the most fun to be for Halloween next year. I will try to officially start making the costume this summer possibly in May of 2010. I will though start coming up with ideas now and try to get in shape for it. I'll need to lose weight for this costume. So this will be a tough one for me to pull off. Ok so far I've been thinking of 4 possibles. 1.) Tightrope Girl 2.)...

Ravenswood Manor

Referencing the concept painting found on page 42 of the Surrell book (page 44 if the 40th anniversary edition), I built and rendered this model of Ravenswood Manor as imagined in its heyday.

The general framework was massed in SketchUp and then brought into 3DS Max where complex geometry and details were added.

My friend and fellow sketch card artist Andy Price did these 2 cards and gave them to me at a comic convention a couple months ago. He and his wife are fellow HM fans (they actually wrote and illustrated one of the stories in the Haunted Mansion SLG/Disney comic).

Each card is in it's own plastic holder.
My apologies for the bad photo. I don't have photoshop and/or a scanner at home anymore because my computer died.

Hello foolish mortals, just wanted to share with everyone my Halloween decoration 2009. Just for so info about it. The exterior was mostly inspired by the Haunted Mansion Holiday and the interior( AKA: Foyer) was more inspired loosely inspired by Phantom Manor.
