Can anyone confirm or deny if the post-rehab foyer music the WDW mansion is the same or not? I have been going to the mansion for years, before and after and even watched videos on youtube, and to me, thefoyer music sounds the same..but some people on youtube keep saying that it is different. Does anyone on here know for sure? Could it be that it sounds slightly different because of the new sound system but that it is the same? I tend to notice minute details but honestly, to me it sounds...

I'm sure this is well-known to HM fans, but I realized recently that the attic is far different now than it originally was. Originally, they had quite a few of the pop-up ghouls. Each one was hiding behind a box or some other prop so that you couldn't see it until it popped up. They were pretty close to the doom buggies, just a couple feet in front of you as you passed by. Whats the value of a Hitchhiking Ghost big fig statue

Two years ago, a friend gave me a statue of Ezra the hitchhiking ghost. It has a light-up base with blue l.e.d.'s.
There's no box, and it's a bit scuffed. One person was selling a similar "Gus" unopened for $400.

So, what do you think?
Oh, by the way, it weighs about 40 pounds and is 3 feet tall.

Here's kind of a backwards way of comparing the two mansions:

Suppose you were hearing Thurl Ravencroft's opening narration from the Story and Song LP for the first time, the very vivid way he describes the mansion and the eerie atmosphere then envelops it.

Based on the preconception of the mansion now swirling in your mind (and nothing else), which of the Disney HMs comes closest to Thurl's description: the one at Disneyland, or the one at Disneyworld?

Are there any DL hosts that can tell me why do you slide the pocket door in then back out at the entry of the HM ride? Ive seen quite a few cast members do this as I get on the ride and I just wanted to know what does it does if anything?

Today I was at the hm with my girlfriend and as we are stepping out of the DOOMBUGGIE the host at the exit was hiding behind the doombuggie before us and as my girlfriend was stepping out he popped out and gave her a good scare! This was great!! I love seeing this because it was totally unexpected. So any other HM host's out there reading this.... This is something cool to do totally adds to the ride to have something NOT a machine give us a spook.
