Did anyone happen to get a photo (or video would be even better) of the very colorful crystal/gazing ball that was present at the 40th Spirited Seance?

I have been trying to track down something like it, but it's amazingly difficult to describe to people.

Lots of cool stuff going on at Disneyland for "Halloween Time", which began yesterday. It was 95 degrees. I got there at 2:30 and it was so crowded that the main parking lot (which is huge) was full, and everybody had to park 2 blocks away and take a shuttle to the parks. I was able to go through the Haunted Mansion. The NBC overlay seems more elaborate. I didn't go on Space Mountain / Ghost Galaxy because they ran out of Fast Passes and I didn't want to wait 75 minutes in...

Just got an email from Disney that the 40th event merchandise is on it's way and was shipped today 9/24 - hopefully everything comes in tact after spending 6 hours in line that night!

I love the Haunted Mansion and scary stuff, but at the same time I like Christmas. You have to balance with opposites right?

With that in mind, I entered a small contest to post and mention my favorite Chuck Jones character.

I met Mr. Jones a few times many years ago in my late teens, and I was fortunate to acquire an original animation cel of Cindy Lou Who.

Can you vote for it and make a nice comment? Not that I'll win but it can't hurt to try.

Tried to post this once before but somehow seems to have gotten lost (I blame jet lag)...

I just wanted to say how much fun the 40th anniversary (note the 2 n's) was for me. I got to spend time with friends and meet some new ones. This was my first event so I wasn't sure what to expect. Thanks Genii for prepping me for some glitches. And boy were there some glitches. The long wait to register being the first and worst. I appreciate the idea behind staging people in a room so...

Does anyone know where to buy a light-up crystal ball like the one at the "Spirited Séance"? It was swirling with color and was really neat. I figure it was probably some one-of-a-kind imagineering item, but I thought I would ask.

Hey all, the 40th anniversary event was almost as awesome as many I met were, but I stupidly forgot my camera at home. I know PLENTY of people had cameras (I was surprised those on stage and such didn't have seizures from the flashes :P) so, since I forgot my camera is there a way I can get some good pictures of all parts of the event from any of you.
Pictures of a higher quality is preferred, but I can understand certain size limits. As long as one can print them on a 4x6 is great....

First off, cheers to the doombuggies staff for putting on a great Bridal Bash at Ralph Brennan's. Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily were great, and their Hatbox Ghost was the living end.

As far as the official event, this was by far the most lengthy registration and merchandise pickup process I've encountered. The staff was nice and helpful, however it moved VERY slowly: four and a half hours for me. That's double the usual amount of time. The merchandise all looks very good...
