Its not done yet but it will be done soon.

I am going to unveil it Dec 19th at Disneyland

Hey, Gang. There are a couple of non-disney films that have a "Haunted Mansion" in them! One such film, which was actually filmed by Buena
Vista is Jim Varney's film "Ernest scared stupid"! In the film, Eartha Kitt is a crazy old woman, living in an old mansion, which looks alot like the HM, except that it has TOO MANY posts, and they go all around the mansion. Plus there is no balcony for the second floor. I recently saw the movie "Tales from the Crypt"...

We haven't actually made into the museum proper yet, but on Halloween we went to the theater at the Disney Family Museum and saw a one-hour program of spooky short films. They had a really nice title card made for the museum (they must know some animators or something) and then they showed:

Last night I went to the Trick Or Treat party at Disney's CA Adventures, and they had the Hat Box Ghost walking around. Unfortunately he was kind of a jerk (sorry!) and wasn't stopping to take pictures with anyone (even though he was an official Disney employee). But the costume was perfection. He and the wicked Queen were hanging out together. Kind of a weird paring. Curious if anyone else saw him or was lucky enough to get a pic. Also if they had him at DisneyWorld's HAlloween...

We got it at Lowes. It was originally marked $99, but it was the last one (and without a box) so we got it for $75. We got a Halloween container to store it in.

I love a good anthology movie, horror movie, and Halloween movie. Up until now, there hasn't been a movie to incorporate all three. Trick R' Treat (now on DVD) is now my favorite Halloween movie of all time! It deftly resurrects all the forgotten Halloween mythology, and slams it in your face! Sam is my new favorite villian. Do yourselves a favor, and rent this movie before the 31st.

Back in the early to mid-eighties, I had a Mickey Mouse Colorforms set that for the life of me I cannot find reference to anywhere on the internet. I'm hoping someone else here either had one too or at least knows what I'm talking about so I can stop thinking I might be delusional about it.

Every year around this time I see these bargain bin Halloween party CDs. Once or twice I've picked them up on a whim, and almost every time I've been disappointed. Ugh! It seems like everyone with a microphone, a basin, an empty jug, and his neighbor's cat is putting out a "horror" CD these days.

So I'm watching the HM movie last night and I notice something I never have in the past. How come Ramsley, Ezra, and Emma are not wearing actual HM uniforms? A simple thing that the costume designer could of done to add just a little more of the HM ride into the movie. Am I right? Or am I just Over thinking this?

Paranormal Activity's tagline says "Don't see it alone", but I say take out the "alone" part! Being a horror film about a "haunted house", this film really falls short of the mark, by a long shot! First off, it's like watching a nearly 90 minute Youtube video. Poorly filmed, almost like it was done by the people who brought you "Blair Witch" video-movie. Hey everyone! Some of you may know that a large retailer has put out a petition to move Halloween to the last Saturday of the month. In their petition they clearly state that it will help them make more profit.

I feel outraged that a company should be allowed to put out such a petition. Especially considering that they are ignoring the historical roots of the holiday. You can read what people are saying on this forum thread:
