I guess it lasted about as long as the other 50th Anniversary stuff? My boyfriend joked that the Year of a Million Dreams was reeeeeallly long.

Apparently it was created as part of the 50th Anniversary promotion of the park. It over stayed its welcome by about a year and half or two years, and they got rid of it. It was a sad day when it closed. ***tear***

I miss playing past midnight (east coast) doing multiple runs of Pirates either battle or capture the flag.

In May of 2008 VMK closed down. VMK (Virtual Magic Kingdom) was a great interactive game/ Disney friendly environment where you got to meet new people very day that were also Disney fans. This is me, eating at the Blue Bayou (I'm the one with the arrow over her head):
