So you want to add a little picture on the left there, just under your name? Follow these simple instructions:
1. Host a picture somewhere on the web. For best results, make it 60x60 pixels. This doesn't mean link to someone else's website, and it doesn't mean save a picture on your computer. It has to be on the web, and it has to be either your web space or someplace where you have permission to hotlink to the image. Your best bet is a GIF or JPG/JPEG file - if it's animated it has to be a GIF.
2. From the main board page, click on My Control Center.
3. Now click on Edit Profile.
4. See the box that says My Photo? Put the web address of your picture in that box.
5. Now scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button.
Voila, you've got a picture under your name.
