Yep, I was there! I was only six years old and remember very little but I was there the first week the mansion opened.

I wish I could attend this event. Guess where I was in August 1969?

wc, you're a lucky dog! Few of us can make that claim.
Hey, save your pennies and join us next September. The more the merrier. |

I believe that I was thinking about the artwork that is shown on the events gallery, I believe it is. So actually then, I must have been confusing the actual
event merchandise with the artists reception/coctail party. Having a head cold is my defense.

OMG, this sounds like so much fun! I can't wait to see the pricing on the top two tiers. Oh how I wish my husband were a Disney freak like me! I wish he
would come with me to these events! I will just have to show up and make new friends with you guys!!!

And don't drink any milk as it helps produce mucus! I wish I could go to the event, but its a little out of my way and during the most expensive time to travel in Korea. But everyone else have fun! |

I still think it is a great idea for Disney to auction off a fans dream of being an animatronic figure in the Haunted Mansion. All they have to do is take a mold of your face and put that "skin" on an exisiting animatronic. Extremely cheap for Disney to do.They already
have the animatronics built. They only have to pop on the winners "skin". An auction like that would garner huge publicity for Disney and make a
charity and or Disney a nice fee, as well as one or a few fans, extremely happy.

Does anyone know how I can adjust my name? It should say just FrightScares but says FrightScaresmonsterkidclass, which I have no idea why?
Lol. Thanks. |

I hope the third tier packaging is not going to be 700-800 hundred that's a bit pricey. If I recall the HHE was only 450 and that included two days worth
of activities plus the auction plus a dinner at the hotel and one night room accomodations. If they charge 700 to 800 hundred for an event that is only about 2
to 4 hours on one night that seems a tad steep. I do realize we are talking DL here. I'm hopin' they stay around 450 for the foolish mortal tier, but
then I may just be a foolish mortal....ha!

Yuki,
What happened son? Or are you playing the invisible ghostie? Now, do not be shy, we here do not bite, on occasion perhaps take part in a bit of ravenous nibbling, nothing more. I most assure you, that you will come into no harm, unless of course you would like to! He, he. |

Has anyone had any difficulties in the past, regarding attempting to purchase a ticket on line for an event such as this one before? Am wondering how difficult
it may be. TIA

Purchasing a package (they don't call them tickets) online is frequently a frustrating nightmare. You will likely be shut out of the package you are trying
to purchase and have to settle for one of the lesser ones. This happens to many people for almost every event. Sometimes their server is overwhelmed and
crashes, sometimes it tells you that things are sold out when they're not. It's a mess and Disney never seems to learn how to fix it. Read the threads
on other boards about what just happened with the Candlelight Processional packages at Disneyland.

The Genii,
Thank you for the reply. I had read some posts on other sites, regarding the processional, and that surely does sound like it was a big headache to have dealt with. It would be nice if Disney could figure out how to make the best system possible for ordering X on line. Hopefully everything will go smoothly for everyone. |

I'd certainly hope to god for an event like this, Disney would have their act together when it comes to handling all the computer gliches because if the
candlelight procession crashed their servers, the HM events will probably KILL them! I so wish they could take phone calls as well! That would help relieve
their system I would think, but perhaps not. We'll have to all compare notes on what happens.

We've been through this before many times, with various events.

I am feeling better, thank you. I still have a bit of a cough though. I can feel that it is almost gone. But it still feels like I have a hair ball. Probably
from my up to no good cats!
