That is interesting that the site crashed today. One would have thought, it might have been yesterday. I figure even more people were attempting to register.
That makes the most sense to me.

My guess on the numbers Top Tier 100 total next level 250 Lowest level 650 Minus 1 for 999 They do not release the actual numbers but I have been 3 times and
this is a close "guess" DTR

OK on the first day my wife and I discussed if we should , both go for top tier I was lucky to get one but not for her. On the second day I did not get one for
her again. Unreal she is disabled and uses a wheel chair. So we had to make a decision. I gave mine up but why? Should we have flown across country and then I
go to the event by myself. No way I would take the risk of flying across country if we only had 1 ticket. Or how about I send her who would push her around any
ideas. This system is Bull. We have been to 3 of these events but not this time. I know they make you register this way to prevent one person from taking
several of the packages for other friends , but they could have allowed 2 guests per reservation. I am calling tomorrow anyone have the event services number?

P.S. I could have assisted with being your wifes wheel chair chauffeur. I have experience with that line of work, for my father ended up in a wheel chair,

I can't belive how many friends didn't get tix to this event! Granted sometimes we didn't get the package we wanted but we all always got to go.
Dave Calvin, and Robert NEED to get tix or the event just won't be the same

I managed to nab (through yet even more dumb luck) a Dearly Departed package and a Hitchhiker package for two friends. So that's three in my party.

I was able to get a Hitchhiking Ghost package. Didn't really want a DD, and figure I can spend more money on merch having spent less on the ticket itself

My registrations are still in a mess-I have several calls and emails to event services to sort thru this, but sor far I have a GGG for myself- I was
registering my friend for the DD since I got booted out of the system the day before for the GGG, when the server went down right after putting in all the info
for the DD package- so all I needed was a confirmation, but never got one- after 1/2 hour and several attempts- actually getting into HH 7 times and server
going down each and every time I finally snagged him a HH, but never got the credit card page- so I'm waiting for that & some miracle that all my
emails and complaints will hopefully get him back the DD package that the system screwed me out of.
My other friend was wait listed, then got the GGG later that day and he was trying to get his friend in too, but he got wait listed for GGG- he tried the next day- was signing up for the wait list for DD, then the system crashed- never got a confirmation, so his friend is still in limbo & may have no package at all. We're going to make the best of it though. I'm still waiting to either hear back for my friend & he's waiting to see if his friend can go at all now. |

Event services finally returned my email today (that I sent on the first day of registration) just to tell me that it's all sold out and all waiting lists
are also full.
So I guess that just leaves me out of luck, even though my girlfriend was able to get a package. They don't seem to care about that very much. |

The event services person that I just talked to today actually referred to it as a "Fiasco". I didn't say it, he did. He said they were looking
on in horror as all the problems went on, and sympathized with me, even though there was absolutely nothing he could do to help other than put skylar on a
waiting list that he informed me "was so long at this point that literally every attendee would have to cancel for us to call him."

If that's true then there must have been at least 2,000 people wanting to register. No wonder there were so many problems. With only 999 spots available,
half of those wanting to attend got shut out (again, if what was said above is true).

I wanted to let everyone know my wife and I each got a GG package. We succeeded by using separate laptops, started entering the site 2 min. prior to sale, and
hit refresh like maniacs until we got through. My package went through without a hitch but my wife had to wait all afternoon for an email asking for payment.
It was so stressful!!!

One Dearly Departed package holder here. I couldn't get a second one for my mother, sadly. The event not being until September is torture, and I've

Unless Ricky is priviliged to information we're not (which might be the case), no one knows the exact number of spots. However 999 would make sense since
that is the number of ghosts supposedly in the Mansion, and the event is being held on 09-09-09. But, if Disney picked that number they would intentionally
have cut off at least 300 people who wanted to come.
We'll be able to count that night. |
