Came across this video by accident while looking around You Tube. It's Grim Grinning Ghosts as seen on the House of Mouse cartoon!
It's surprisingly good, and tons of cameos! They have the wallpaper, the ghost hunters ghosts, and even the skeleton dance! |

Wow, that's awesome! I had not seen that.
Disney probably could have released that as The Haunted Mansion Movie and people would have been happier than with the Eddie Murphy one...

I love it, much much bettter than the Eddie Murphy crap...too bad they didnt make a feature length animated film verison of the Haunted Mansion..they had
originally planned one...or even a 15-20 min animated short to play alognside POTC film

That's a great reference - House of Mouse may not be a classic Disney, but it's really good at cramming in all things Disney!
Interesting to see how they depict Phineas without his hat too - wonder if that's how the animatronic's hair is... The hitchhikers have been on House of Mouse in a brief cameo before - don't know if it was the same episode, but Pete mentioned something about the place being 'deader than The Haunted Mansion', and it then cut to a quick shot of the trio bouncing up and down thumbing for a ride... |

I think the hitchhikers and the hatbox ghost had a very brief cameo in the feature-length Halloween DVD Mickey's House of Villains. One of the Disney
villains opens a crate labeled hitchhiking ghosts. Some generic ghosts and one who looks a lot like Hatty fly out and terrorize the other characters during the
song "It's Our House Now!"
