Popup Ghost Posts: 522 (12/22/08 20:02:04) Popup Ghost Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I've probably said it a minimum of five thousand times already on this site alone, but it's something I can't stress enough; my worst nightmare ride is the TWILIGHT ZONE TOWER OF TERROR. That ride, even though I know it's filled with a battery of cutting-edge failsafes and an army of technicians to assure that it runs smoothly, is my absolute worst nightmare incarnate. When I am forced to take an elevator that is a decade or older and I see that it's inspection certificate isn't up to date, I genuinely pray with every fiber of my being that the old contraption will make it to the desired floor with no incidents. So, you can imagine how terrified I am of a ride centered around an old, malfunctioning elevator. I honestly have no idea why I have a phobia of elevators. It used to be that all of them made me nervous, old and new. I was scared for a while that I or a loved one was going to be crushed by the door. I'm completely over that, but the whole 'malfunctioning and disaster' thing still lingers for some reason... But maybe TToT is the one I SHOULD go on, to break me of my fear (or scar me for life and make me not want to get on another elevator ever again). ~ Mme. Riata

Pressing up takes you down and the doors close with such crushing force that I'm sure a watermelon would splatter it's goery remains all over the interior!!

That will help you get over elevators I have taken the stairs down the Empire State Building a few years ago when the electricity went out along the East Coast. It's a loooong way down. I love extreme rides and roller coasters; I've done the Skycoaster at Kennywood, all rides at Six Flags, Busch Gardens Europe, and Disneyland/World. The only ride I get scared on is 'Dinosaur'- I know it's a ride but it's still fun to be scared (especially for the picture!)

I don't think I have ever freaked out in anything else than in that little room. I really lost it when the giant spiders came down from the ceiling. I wish I was kidding.

The show Honey, I Shrunk the Audience freaked the HECK out of my the first time I went to Disney. And the weird thing was, I was the one who REALLY wanted to go on it :P. Anyway, I was fine until the part where the mice "escaped" into the audience and they have the things that make it feel like you have mice hitting the back of your legs. I just started screaming and my dad had to take me out.

Here are some specifics about the ride."UK's Thorpe Park will be opening a SAW-themed roller coaster in Spring 2009. The coaster will feature a 'beyond vertical' drop of 100º from a height of 100ft (a 4.5 G-force experience), making it the steepest freefall drop in the world. Riders will also endure three inversions that will add another dimension to a whole new experience of adrenaline-fuelled fun for thrill seekers. The ride lasts 1 minute and 40 seconds, 30% of which will be inside the station building. The track is 2363 feet in length. Merlin Entertainment has been working with Twisted Pictures and Lionsgate to ensure total accuracy of the key elements from the Saw films. Just because it surprised me. I can ride anything and be fine! I love everything thrilling. Sheikra at Busch Gardens Tampa was pretty intense though. They hang you over the 90 degree drop for a few seconds.

I would go on any ride I suppose that can be found in an established theme park or amusement park, but carnie rides are a different story. Don't get me wrong, scary movies and rides DO frighten me... but I know it's just 'pretend'. However, poorly constructed traveling fair rides that may have a few 'screws loose' are genuinely dangerous. I also worry about haunted houses set up in old hotels downtown for the month of October that I can pay $20 to walk through, especially when a majority of the cast, crew, and patrons have been partying and are actually doing more stumbling than walking. Foolish Mortal Posts: 20 (07/19/09 08:20:14) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Yeah....I'm not really a roller coaster fan but one of the most scariest thing I ever been in was the Halloween Haunted House in Busch Gardens Williamsburg Va. Holy crap that walk through was so long and dreadful but it was totally worth it.Jeez everything pop out at you and a lot of the actors tried to grab any time they can. Seriously I have never been so scared in my whole life well... at least from something that was fake. I did see some HM elements in the house like they had some doors that looked similar to the doors in the corridors. If anyone is planning to be in the Williamsburg area around Halloween I STRONGLY recommand you to go to Busch Gardens Williamsburg!!!
