Has anyone seen a CM do this for a guest before? |

When I was at the DLR on Saturday, a CM in the stretching room took off his jacket and put it on a guest and had him say the lines of the CM, "Please drag
your bodies away from the walls to the dead center of the gallery". Although when the guest repeated the lines, he said, "drag your DEAD bodies to
the center!" which was just as funny! I could tell the guest was quite surprised and amused by this gesture and after he said the lines, everyone in the
chamber applauded! I'm sure the guest will never forget that particular ridethru!

I love to hear stories like that. The CM just made another future doombug. Things like stay with you when you are young.

When I visited Disney Paris , there was a wonderful female castmember outside the Blue Lagoon restaurant who was playfully fencing with one of the plastic
swords with a little boy.

How fun! I've seen CMs go to extraordinary measures to make a guest happy but that was too cool! When my son was 4 he finally mustered up the courage to
ask a question during the Turtle Talk with Crush performance. But my son was not picked and was crying at the end of the show. As we were packing up to leave,
a CM came up and told us to hang out a sec and after everyone had left the auditorium, the CM closed the door, Crush came 'swimming' back to the big
screen and gave my son a private one on one chat that lasted several minutes. I was so touched and my son was in awe of Crush!

While it happens less often now, WDW has pulled children from the line outside to be a junior maid or butler. We have child-size costumes they slip on over
their clothes, and they help open the front doors to the Mansion. Afterwards, they are given a "ghost dog" leash to walk so the family can take
photos if they like, and the child receives an "Honorary Caretaker" card and gets to keep the leash as a gift. I had a manager swipe my coat from the
breakroom once to help pull some extra stretches, but that's not quite the same thing.

I wish DL CM would do that with our kids! They'd be all over that!

Oh, and by the way, sorry that I've been away for so long. Been busy. |
