Those were the days. I really miss the game. It really did made me feel like I went to Disneyland everyday!!!! Are there any board memebers that played? Any pics that you have from VMK? Post them here. It would be great to meet here.

In May of 2008 VMK closed down. VMK (Virtual Magic Kingdom) was a great interactive game/ Disney friendly environment where you got to meet new people very day
that were also Disney fans. This is me, eating at the Blue Bayou (I'm the one with the arrow over her head):

I miss it too... It was awesome for a Disney fix and pretty much sustained me between my two trips to DL.
However, if you want to relive the glory days, this site might help: http://www.gpvmk.com/

I liked VMK as well. I actually also get a kick out of Club Penguin. It's not great but its good for boredom.

I don't think I know anyone who doesn't miss that land.
I miss playing past midnight (east coast) doing multiple runs of Pirates either battle or capture the flag. |

Apparently it was created as part of the 50th Anniversary promotion of the park. It over stayed its welcome by about a year and half or two years, and they got
rid of it. It was a sad day when it closed. ***tear***

I guess it lasted about as long as the other 50th Anniversary stuff? My boyfriend joked that the Year of a Million Dreams was reeeeeallly long.
