I had asked this elsewhere, as it was, but will post it here too. Have the posting levels changed? Because to begin with I do not like the wall to wall creep
name, to say the least. I am not a creep. If you have 1,000 or more posts you are suppose to see grim grinning ghost. No, I am not such as of yet, either,
however.... one day! I like my Ballroom Dancer title, that I would like to keep. I would prefer to just see that under Marilyn's picture. TIA

Sorry, level titles are set for all users. The "Ballroom Dancer" will stay indefinitely but the title directly under your user icon will continue to
change until you reach the maximum post level.

I think it's safe to say nobody on these boards sees "wall to wall creep" and thinks the person is an actual creep. In the same way
"ballroom dancer" doesn't make the anyone seem like a better dancer, and "foolish mortal" doesn't make you a bad decision maker. I
think the names are great.

No that's not what I meant. I know that the one directly below your avatar is determined by how many posts you have made in the forums (it has the ability
to change depending on the number of posts I've made), but what about the one below the posting date and time, who chooses it, or how do you get it, does
it change...etc.? This is what I'm curious about.

Quick answer without refering to other locations: There are three ways to change your title. The first is to make a donation to the board directly, the second
is to become a Yuku supporter, and the third way is to become a member of the DB.com fan club.
Once you have done one of those things, send an email to doombuggiesadmin@gmail.com stating you did so and what you would like your custom title to say. After verifying the donation and verifying that the request is at least rated PG, we will make the requested changes. |

Thing is though, from what I have read regarding the posting level information thread, is if one has 1000 or more posts, then it would become grim grinning
ghost. And for example with me, my preferred ballroom dancer, will remain. I would still very much like to have only the ballroom dancer title showing. I know
it is not a big deal, that is just simply my most favorite title.

I believe the title at the bottom of your info block is what was carried over during the shift from ezBoard to Yuku. If you had a custom title before the
change, that's what was carried over. If not, then your post-count title at that time carried over.
There are three titles beyond Grim Grinning Ghost, and from what I can see we can't suppress those so that only your custom title shows without it affecting everyone on the board. We'll continue looking into it but you may just have to live (as it were) with two titles. |
