I bought my tickets for Halloween Night today.
Anyone else planning on going this year, and if so, which night(s)?

Yes I know...it's early. I heard the same thing last year, but I figure the way the last nights sell out I'd get a jump on things. It's amazing
how fast the summer flies by.

I don't believe the tickets are available as of yet for Dl. in Ca. So I am presuming this is for WDW.

That'd be cool for you guys UncleGomez. It's a fun time to be in WDW. In fact my first trip ever was that week back in 1989.
As far as I know "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party" is the name of the one in WDW only, so I didn't specify further. Everyone here always just knew what that meant. Disneyland's party has a different name. Not sure about the non-US parks offhand. Tickets are on sale on the main Disney World site and also at the CM stores. The discounted cast dates end pretty early though.

Forgive my ignorance. Perhaps the name should be the same for those of us, that confuse the two?

The way they're grouping everything together these days I'm surprised it isn't the same name. Hopefully that won't be a change they'll
make. I kinda like things different. Gives me a reason to pay a fortune for plane tickets across the country.

I'm hoping to attend one of the parties. I have to find out which one though. There are certain Cast discount nights and since we don't make the big
bucks, it will probably be one of those. Generally anyone in Fantasyland - ToonTown that is off that night will go all together as a large group.
I've already started working on my costume. |

GRD the dates are up for the CM rates. They did it very differently this year. They're kinda early but a good deal. The dates are on the portal under the
rest of the ticket info, but they have to be purchased at C.D. I haven' the faintest idea what I'll be this year. What are the odds it will be a
Vampire? :P

Well, unfortunately, it wont be WDW; but I'm just as happy at Disneyland. And last I checked they were waiting till August to release any information
on the festivities here on the west coast.

I wonder why it takes Dl. so long to release this information, when WDW already has tickets for sale for their version of this event?
And why cannot their calender go beyond 2 or 3 months at a time. And why does Dl. change their minds so often regarding refurbishment schedules? ......... and on and on ........ |

We're going to WDW for my birthday, and just recently bought tickets for MNSSHP on October 12th.
The CM dates are usually the same as the AP/DVC discount nights, and the last AP/DVC discount night is October 6. |

Hey Dave, that would be really cool! Halloween is $64 + tax for adults. I wasn't impressed when I saw that, but unfortunately I really only enjoy going
Halloween Night. IMO, I'm just not old enough (and won't be anytime soon) to surrender my Halloweens to answering the door, handing out candy to the
neighborhood miscreants. Not my thing.
This year if all goes well (like that ever happens :P) I will be milking MNSSHP into a MNSSHP Vacation, starting on 10/29. It will also be my 20th anniversary of my first visit, which is almost hard to believe. The stamp on that first hopper pass says Oct. 28th 1989! October 20th is the last CM rate night, btw. As I mentioned earlier they appear to be on sale already. I could definitely be wrong on that since I haven't popped in to actually check, but everything I read just sounds like they're available. It seems very different this year. I am considering getting ones for MVMCP, since the price is so much better than normal, and I care less about going early to that one. I'll probably be spending so much In Oct./early Nov. though that I may pass again this year.
