I do have a question. My mom and I will be arriving at Disneyland on 9.9.9 and I was curious. I'm almost 100% convinced that the HBG will be there. But on
9.9.9, will the HBG be there during the day, or will they wait until that night and shut the mansion down a few hours early to put him in? Im not saying that
this is going to happen, I was just curious. I doubt they would close the mansion of 9.9.9 just for the event? @_@

There is no way to know any details of the HBG at this time.
Perhaps more information will leak (if there is anything to leak) closer to the event. |

The denials that have been filtering out have been blunt and emphatic: No HBG AA is planned at this time. Now, these reports could all go back to a
single source, and so the several reports could really be only one report, one source, and that source could be wrong (that is, ignorant of something
authorized at a higher level in WDI and kept under wraps). Stuff like that does happen from time to time. I'm told that the Hatchet Man portrait that
appeared some months ago in the WDW Corridor of Doors was a complete surprise. Some guys from WDI just showed up one day and installed it, bang.
Nevertheless, I'd say it's more likely than not that HBG2 has been shelved for the present. |

He's certainly maintained his presence in the merchandise, I'll tell you that. I just got back from WDW, and I saw the framed set of five mansion ghost pins for sale in two different locations. The pin placed prominently near the top of the frame? Good ol' Hatty. Not to mention the random stuff that disneyworld.com has been selling with him on it. I wanted the pin set badly, but it cost almost $300. *sigh* My opinion is that he will definitely be back, but I don't think he'll be back for 9/9/09. I think WDI will wait and make it an event in itself or something. Maybe even promote with Doombuggies' help! You never know... |

First off, this is my Haunted Mansion forum debut. So, please, be kind.
Second, although a would-be groom at first, somehow, I have it in my mind now that Mr. Ghost is a confirmed bachelor and, perhaps, an accomplice or partner-in-crime, if you will. He sports a rather sly, telling grin. And, with so many suitors losing their heads over Constance, what better vehicle for their disposal than a hatbox? Third, I, too, have it on rather good authority that H. B. is dying to make a comeback. |

Bonjour et bienvenue Monsieur Chaney!
I enjoyed reading your first post. Very good points to ponder. It has always made sense to me the correlation between Constance, Monsieur Chapeau Boite Fantome and his hat box. I say, he was one of her suitors. So says my fiction as well. |

If he really does come back, since I'm poor and can't go to the anniversary, someone best take a picture of him and post it! XD Please!
Hypothetically speaking. I hope he came back! I had NO idea he was so popular amongst HM fans. I'm new to the boards. |

Just a heads up (or would that be heads off?). Rumor has it there are changes afoot in the DL attic corner. THE corner. You frequent DL visitors would
be well-advised to keep an eye on things.

Let's just say, if you're a local and a frequent DL HM visitor and you're not taking pictures of said corner every chance you can these days,
someday you may wish you had. Or so I've been told.

Let's just say, if you're a local and a frequent DL HM visitor and you're not taking pictures of said corner every chance you can these days, someday you may wish you hadOh jeepers, if you don't get those photos now, you won't have those all important pictures of the Hatbox Ghost not being in that location. We'll the good news is, if they do put the Hatbox ghost back, and you miss the shot of him not being in the attic, there will still be a lot of places you can photograph throughout the mansion where he won't be. |

Yeah, like he ain't here, so sad! where is here anyway on a map?

Hard to say where here is, but it should be pointed out that there are two heres, one to the left and one to the right, and the right one seems to be a lot
closer. That's why we say, "It's right here." The left one seems to be more distant, and it's a popular place to visit. "Where's
Joe? I thought he was right here." "Joe? Left here about an hour ago."

Dan Olson wrote:Well, going with that logic, it seems that the left side of the track in the attic is occupied at the moment, and so the only logical place for the Hatbox Ghost to go would be to the right, meaning he's close by . . . right??? |
