One things I don't seem to understand is what "Limited Release" means. Help will be greatly appreciated! ^_^

If I'm not mistaken, I think it means instead of a certain number of items released until sold out, they will sell unlimited quantities for a specific
amount of time. I find a good rule with Disney is just try to buy something the minute it's released versus waiting. You never know when they'll pull
something off shelves never to be seen again.

They've been sold out of the Bat Black light, but be sure to check all the shops in the park and especially Pin Traders in Downtown Disney! When I was
there on opening day of the HM pins, 6/19, a cast member at Little Green Men store said everyone was sold out including all DTD shops, so just in case I went
to Pin Traders and sure enough, they still had them! So you've got to check yourself.

Went to the continuing O-pin house today and they still have some of the pin sets that were released on 6-25 like the COD set and the box set of HM rooms with
the little doors that open. From the 7-9 release date they still have the diorama Jumbo Pin in which the house opens up and the tarot card spell book. I was
amazed to find by 1:00pm, they still had framed LE100 sets of the graveyard, the LE50 Amentities framed sets (finally sold out later in the day) and the Hatbox
Ghost sculpture set w/2 pins (which by the way is AWESOME!) and still had the Cloisonne' sculpture of caretaker and singing busts. On my way out of the
park I found people waiting in line already for the next morning's Marcasite pin releases!! They had started forming a line around 1:00pm!! Wow!

Too many pins released for the market to absorb.
I was just there the other day as well and met up with Ghost. Many of the limited edition releases were still available that are selling for inflated prices on eBay. If you wanted to buy one of the ltd 50 framed pin sets on Saturday, however, you needed to be there by 12:30 am on Friday night (actually Saturday morning). At $300, many people in line seemed to feel that the ltd 100 pin set was just too expensive. And I love my Hatbox Ghost, but it's TINY for $80. The spell book is very nice and, although also overpriced, the interior pages do reproduce something that is actually in the Mansion. |

johnny: it's 8 1/4 inches tall on a 6x6 inch base. Try calling DelivEars: they may still have them available for the original $80 price at Disneyland. Many
of the limited edition sets (the door, and some others) are still available.

 Oh well, nothing I can do about it now....is

I like it very much or I wouldn't have bought it. After standing on line for an hour, I bought the Hatbox Ghost, but did NOT buy the pin "scene"
with the caretaker and the singing busts (upright pins on a wooden base) or the ltd 250 pin set. Didn't care for those, but the Hatbox Ghost is great. If
it makes you feel better, I bought two of the earlier pin set releases on eBay as well. Paid too much, and then discovered that they were still for sale at the
park!

wow, yeah thats happend to me many times before, but thanks for the input! Im sure I will like it alot, I DO love the Hatbox Ghost, so how bad can it be ,
right? lol Im sure its still a very nice figure...the one Im dying to get is the WDCC Organist..I relaly hope I can get that, as well as the Jim SHore
HHG's and the Conservatroy Coffin.....and thats cnsidering the fact that I have absolutely nowhere to display any of these things in my house anymore! I
actually have some nice peices Ive had to put away to make room for newer ones Ive gotten recently, but Im sure you as well as many other Disney fans can
relate!!

The Jim Shore piece is an open edition, and the WDCC Organist is a large edition: you'll have no trouble getting either one.
As to your space problem: if you have any pictures, take them off the wall and put up shelving!

johnnybix, Rest assured, the hat box figure is ultra cool. The ghost is solid resin, and the piece is heavier than it looks. It is not a cheap toy by any
means. The creases in the cape glow in the dark. It might have cost you $35 to ship from Disney, so the price you paid isn't as bad as you thought.
