Man, i have a feeling we are gonna get stuck with a couple of pins as gifts, and probably a champagne flute or something. I did'nt buy my tickets for the
free gifts , but i do hope we get at least one diamond in the rough. But like shirleyfilms said, i will be happy just getting my rsp items.

Genii, what were some of the awesome gifts you guys got at the recent Mansion and Pirates events? I'm just curious, if you don't have time to post
them, no biggie. Thanks

Cool.
I wish I would have been able to make it to the Indy anniversary. My wife gave me the Mara snow-globe thing for Christmas a few years ago (via Ebay). I love it. Wish I had more. |

I might have missed this info elsewhere, but I just found out that the Daily/Kidney coffin is a wind-up item, with the coffin door slowly closing in a creepy,
subtle way. I think that might be my favorite piece.

For the final Happy Haunts event in 2004, the top tier package received an enormous Mansion-themed charger, a plastic skeleton about 18 inches high wearing a
pin lanyard with a dozen or so mini-pins (all limited to 50) and he came in a white satin-lined wooden coffin with a plaque that had your name engraved on it,
a pair of engraved champagne glasses, a special pin of a bat in a circle, a Dave Avanizino "Room for one More" paper sculpt limited to 50, a
reproduction of the Gargoyle from the stretching room with a small drawer in the base containing a pin of Stitch as the Gargoyle. May have missed something.

I wish I had the $1,000+ to have done the high end of an event. The $200 dinner package was all I could afford, but they seemed to hook the top tier packages
and always seemed to give awesome gifts. Gifts for regular packages where Tarot cards for the first HMH we got a small oogie boogie jack-o-lantern at another
HMH. We also got a small chest of drawers with small nbc pins in each drawer one year and a night light another. At the HHB I went to we got a tombstone with
raven on it and the famous red cup.

RED CUP!!!
A toast to mashed potatoes and BBQ sauce! |

My wife and I both ended up with mashed potatoes and BBQ sauce!
Followed by a red stinking plastic cup. They still haven't made up for that. |

The first HHB gave out a 3 pin set similar to the on site lottery pin set to the people who took the option to stay at the Floridian resort. The coffin box was
black however and LE of 150.
There was also the personalized name tag pin at the HM dinner at the last HHE top tier and a organ figurine w/ music sheet pin as a event gift as well. I do not remember the pair of glasses though. |

Jeff, Do you know what's happening to the rest of the coffins that are not going to be available at the RSP?

They're probably going to sell them in the parks, though I don't know where they would sell them in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. They
don't seem like the kind of thing to sell on Madame Leota's cart and there is no Art of Disney Store in the Magic Kingdom anymore, is there?
There's no Disneyana shop, no gallery, and so on. That Smucker's store just beyond Leota's cart used to have some Mansion items (after they got rid
of all the kitchen items), but it was all Nightmare Before Christmas stuff last time I saw it (a few years ago). It always struck me as odd that there's is
an enormous shop at the end of the Pirates ride in Orlando, but no Haunted Mansion shop.

There is a store on Main St at WDW that sells the collectible items that you find at the Art of Disney stores - it's on the right hand side as you are
facing the castle- I think the store is called Uptown Jewelers?

That makes a lot of sense ... not. |

I know that sometimes I am off topic, but this thread has really ended up taking a different path, and several at that.

The thread will right itself when more items show up in true form on the RSP. Then it'll heat up again when we get the RSP results. And then again in the
aftermath of the event. Oh--also when people start tossing up their stuff on eBay 30 days before the event. That always generates some chatter!

That is so true!
I know I can't wait to see what I get on my RSP. At least we know before the event now. Unlike the first HMH when you found out when you registered. |

That suspense would kill me.
