Thanks again for all the positive comments.
GhoulishDelight, I honestly just built it to get a better understanding of what it takes to make a space like that, successful. If I find something interesting, I usually pursue it until I find what I'm looking for. Which coincidentally led me to this site a long time ago, ha ha. I would love to have the opportunity to be able to create spaces like this in my professional life, but for now, this will do. It is a big piece...I can see it someday being framed behind a piece of glass and sunk to a recess in a wall, so it shows like a painting. That way all its secrets are kept.
I did look at the blueprints for reference, though I didn't copy them exactly. I over-scaled a couple dimensions, just to give it a grander feeling when you are actually in front of it. Unfortunately I haven't created a 'ride through' yet, I don't have a video camera that would effectively capture it! Too dark. Perhaps I'll get adventurous and create a stop-motion.
The chandelier, and one of the doors, DO show up in a reflection, in that aforementioned side hall. Luckily, most of this is obscured while you follow the intended path. I would have to install one more curtain to completely hide it. No 2 way mirrors. Though I did briefly consider it.
