Patina on bronze, brass or copper is a given. It always happens and gives the object a very charming, beautifully weathered look. Iknowthey keep the "partners"statue in the hub well polished at the parks, as well as the small character statues but even the Cinderella statuewith the birds at WDW and Sleeping Beauty at DL have been left with a strong green patina..and Im sure many others as well. The POTC fountain plaque is another one. Patina actually protects the metal underneath and is considered very desirable and beautiful. Look at the statue of liberty!
