I somehow remember that although Knott's dinosaurs were as great as they could be (during the golden 1980s), the "KOTD" ride itself was extremely sloo-oow moving compared to its exciting theme. Is my memory false?

A couple of years ago I visited the Tivoli World in Benalmadena, Spain, where they had the most adrenaline-pumping dino ride I've ever been on (and I have been on WDW's Dinosaur!, too). Benalmadena's version didn't quite have the same class and atmosphere as KBF (or WDW, respectively), but the excitement came in form of the old-fashioned but VERY fast-moving vehicles; I was more scared of crashing through a wall with the vehicle than being eaten by a dinosaur...
