One of the things I like about Victorian Architecture is the great variety of designs. 
A house I'm hopping to buy to live in on the east coast was designed by George Barber. 
This is not the house, but it was designed from the same set of plans.


Sizewise, this is one of his more modest designs.  He did some true mansions as well.

Another house designed by George Barber was the Farm House featured in
the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre".


There really was no reason to duplicate one facade, when there was so many to choose from.
