little more palatable.

So. What happens to any unsold merchandise from this event. I realize that anything that doesn't go will probably be available AT the event. But what about anything that DOESN'T sell, even at the event? For example... the chess set. I guess I won't be totally amazed if they sell 40 of them... but at $2000.... it's possible there will be some left. What happens to them after the event, if there are some left over? Do they go to DeliverEars... or something? I wonder if EBAY re-sellers are still going to try and snatch it up. I can't really imagine anyone paying 3K or 4K for it down the line... but... I could be wrong. When the chess set was $1000, I was seriously thinking about getting one. But. As cool as it looks, at $2000.... it's just not worth it to me anymore. It's painted resin. And I am usually the first one to drop ridiculous amounts on HM items. It will be interesting to see how this stuff sells... and who gets what. |

Did anyone else notice that there appears to be a design/printing on the INSIDE of the mug?
I think I am going to wait until I get there to worry about shirts/mugs/etc. But. I do like the tees.

who knows what they will do with any extra merchandise - most times it shows up at the outlet stores - or other times it's laid to rest (yep Disney does
actually destroy merchandise) I have a friend who used to work for Disney and they would have rooms full of merchandise that was set aside for demolition - I
know it's very sad!!!

I asked event services if the special order items are limited to one per person, because I wanted to pick up a pair of shoes for my friend. They said no, and
now I'm wondering what's going to stop people from ordering 10 pairs to put on ebay. Nothing, I guess. I kind of wish they'd limit special order
items to 2 or 3 per person.
For a moment today, my dad was considering going for the door. But as much as I love HM, I had to talk him down. That price is just insane! |

You're free to order as many of the special order items as you like: Disney likes that because the more that get ordered, the lower the per unit cost
drops. It cost them less per pair of sneakers and they make more money off your purchase. Ditto for the denim jackets.
