They are nice, a bit too small for $95. I'd still buy them though.

The level of detail is impressive. I think they would look fantastic backlit! I agree, that it would be better if they were bigger, though. Say 18" tall
instead of 9".

The Stretching Portraits do look nice. The size is almost identical to the actual concept art which Marc Davis painted--it used to hang in Club 33 and everyone
was always shocked to see how small they are.
I'm at the Tokyo Disney Resort right now. The only Haunted Mansion collectible is a new pin. |

I don't carry a camera, so can't take photos. However, there's a guy named TDLFAN who posts tons of photos on the Tokyo Disney Resort section of
MiceChat.
I noticed that the portrait of Master Gracey in the foyer here morphs now--it's no longer using the old system with five transparencies from Orlando. I can't remember if they made that upgrade to Orlando as well. |

Was the portrait with the head popping out working?

Yes!

I wish I could have seen that. It wasn't working when I was there for the NBC overlay.

Question about the denim jacket............... Can one place the order now, without submitting the RSP? If so, how?
|

You have to go through the whole RSP process to do just the jacket. You don't have to select anything else now. You can revise your RSP as many times as
you want until the final due date.

Thanks. That's rather absurd though.
I didn't order the shoes last month, because I just don't like them. I would never wear them, and they would look stupid on a shelf next to my HM figures. This whole selection of merchandise changed my mind about wanting to own every HM collectible. There's some good stuff, which I will buy , but the majority of it I won't. |

There's no way to own every Haunted Mansion collectible because it's not a finite list. The sneakers are cool. I'll never wear them, but
they'll be fun to own (even if they're in a drawer).

What do you mean by 'it's not a finite list' ?
|
|||
The Genii |

Because collectibles include not only things officially released as souvenirs or limited editions, but also original items from the Mansion itself as well as,
for example, the original silk-screened attraction poster.

Yes, in that sense, the list is endless. But I have lost my desire to own every officially released collectible. I have most of them to date, but I'm not going to buy things I don't even really like just because it is HM related. At this point I would rather spend that money on very hard to find or very old HM items. Stuff from the 60s and 70s. |

I wish somebody would create a website specifically about HM collectibles. I mean a comprehensive list from day one, with descriptions and photos. Sounds
like a job for the Genii.

I belive Chef Mayhem is working on a new collectibles section for doombuggies.com that should have many hundreds of items shown.
