I absolutely LOVE the Jim Shore piece, and it's an open editon and very affordable! The WDCC organist is kinda cute, everything is is very underwhelming,
the chess set is great but too expen$ive and the candelabra looks cool, tho..as well as the coffin...but I expected some relaly cool stuff and Im
disapointed...I do LOVE the Jim Shore piece!!!

The candelabra is bizarre. The base is the same as the one used for the "Tiffany" lamp from the 50th, the sconces are scaled down from the ones made
for the 50th, and the stanchion looks like the same sculpt as used on the 50th tapestry rods. I think this qualifies as a merchandise "mash up" of
previous releases, to say the least. I have to wonder if the designers just took various proofs lying around the studio and just got busy with the glue gun?

In my eyes, that particular piece shows a huge lack of imagination. It's literally just pieces of previously-produced items tacked together, and it's
certainly not done in a very elegant manner. I do like a good deal of the offerings, but the second I saw that, I was like, "Gee, that all looks REALLY
familiar." Because I see those things every day in my apartment.

Does anyone know if you can get this stuff through deliver ears when the anniversary is closer? I noticed the site says something about RSP....?
"What does RSP mean? RSP stands for the Random Selection Process, a computer program designed to award limited edition product to event guests based on their preferences. Normally, two RSP's are run for each event." So you have to actually BE at the park to get this stuff, AND be participating in the anniversary events?

yes you must sign in at the event and then go to the merchandise area and either take it home or have it mailed. DTR

I must say, the chess set looks AMAZING! And they don't even have pictures of it painted yet... but wow.... $1000.... no way. No chess set is worth that
much to me. I'm a hardworking college student, food is better than pretty, shiny Haunted Mansion toys like that! I'll at least get a t-shirt or
something though.

We still do not know the edition size yet either. It could be 1 or 25. If it is a set of only 1 then I would say it is worth $ 1000 depending on how it looks
in the final photos. Remember this stuff on the DG website will change and photos of the completed objects will replace them. Until then I am holding off on
filling out my RSP... DTR

I thought Kevin and Jody were producing thirteen items for this event? Where are the rest ? I really hope they are producing the gifts in the packages. They do amazing work! I also got a GG package and am starting to think that the top tiers exclusive gift(Crypt-ic Amenity) is something silly, like HM hotel shampoo. I am just thinking that because of the definition of amenity, but I hope I'm wrong! I would love a roll of the mansions creepy eyes wallpaper!
