I know this has already been said somewhere around here, but if anyone intends to cancel their package because they can't go, PLEASE do not just cancel.

Basically, I tried calling and emailing both days when I wasn't able to get a package simply to get on a waitlist. I wasn't able to get through for that either, so I wasn't even on any of the waitlists and now they are officially closed because there are so many people on them.

I just spoke with event services and they said they are in the process of drafting a letter to send to people whose spouses/friends/other party members/etc. did not get packages that they can cancel for a full refund without being charged the cancellation fee. When they do that, their package will be offered to people on the wait list.

So in other words, I have absolutely no chance of getting a package, because I wasn't able to get on any lists (and I made them put me on anyway, but I'm so far down it will never get to me). I said to them "so basically, I have no chance of going and you're forcing my girlfriend to cancel her package" to which they replied "I'm sorry, but you're not the only person in that situation"

So I'll plead with all of you, if anyone decides to cancel, please hook me (or any other Doombugs for that matter) up before simply cancelling and letting it go to some random person on the wait list.

It probably doesn't need to be said (it seems like common sense), but I wanted to just because it is literally my only shot at going anymore.
