I misinterpreted what you said. Your sign is a resin casting, however it is not directly from the original mold. It appears to have been cast from someone else's casting from the original mold. Or perhaps a third generation. You can tell by the details, such as the mouth of the figure at the top, which should be open and deep rather than filled in. Also, the scales on the snakes surrounding the skull at the bottom are missing. These are the types of details which tend to get "lost" as one copy is made from another copy.

However, that said, your cast is a lovely one. It looks much better than many of the bootlegs that are floating around, some of which are eighth and ninth generations away from the original.
