It seems like quite a few people going to the HM and/or DB event this year haven't been to one before. Who here will be meeting fellow doombugs for the 1st time? I would imagine that even if people didn't get to a Haunted Mansion Holiday or Happy Haunts Ball that a handful met people at the DB 10th anniversary since it wasn't long ago and sold out, but I'm just wondering who will be meeting people from this board for the 1st time.

I've meet a few local doombugs (like Guy...hi Guy!) and I went the day of the 10th anniversary thing and watched everyone go into the event while I stood outside very sad I missed it (I had just found out I was pregnant when the tickets were on sale and I wasn't sure if I'd have morning sickness or not; unfortunate and fortunate for me, I didn't have morning sickness). But actually attending an event and meeting a bunch of doombugs...this will be my first time, and I am soooo very excited!!

Hmm, yes, I've heard that somewhere too, but I think the problem was in the execution. :P At least I made up for that in the Scavenger Hunt. I had so wanted to go, but there was just no way this time. I will however be consoling myself floating around in the Caribbean on a ship that week, instead. Hopefully that will keep me from going mad. (-der?) Next time I go back to Southern California, which I sure hope isn't too long since I really loved it there, I'll have to let you know.
