Apparently there was a monorail crash this morning (around 2am) at the T&TC.

Boy, what a way to wake up on a Sunday morning.
This report has some pretty greusome pics. The poor driver never had a chance from the look of these. I wonder if they'll ever say what malfunctioned. Because I don't think the system allows trains to get near each other or come into a station at full speed, which must have been the case based on the destruction shown in these photos. http://www.cbs12.com/news/accident-4719364-disney-trains.html

I think the monorail sevice will still be down today, at least on that line. Two different news stations here in central FL interviewed former pilots that
discussed how the monorail operates - yes, it's automated, but there is human action that needs to take place (apparently). They have checked the DL
monorail system and have indicated that their system is working properly.
