Well, as you can see in the above picture that I found on another site (and I believe that the picture was taken by our own Dan Olson) there is hardly any color at all in the wallpaper! This is very similar to what I saw in person two weeks ago, very little color in the wallpaper at all!

Dan Olson wrote: The trouble with the wallpaper background color is that there's really more than one. It's mottled, with a dark and a light shade of the same hue. As far as I'm concerned, the closest well-known color name for it is periwinkle. So I just say "it's a shade of periwinkle" and call that good enough. That wallpaper has never been replaced, btw.

They even contacted DoomBuggies for help with the design. It was interesting - I was surprised that WDI wasn't involved, but the project didn't move forward much at that point in time, so I suspect it was either a rogue park initiative, or perhaps that they were considering using the wallpaper for something else entirely, such as a retail display. At least Disney finally got to use the wallpaper design I'd developed for the packaging of the latest release of the Haunted Mansion 40th soundtrack (and the 12" box set as well), so it didn't go to waste.

Okay, I've done some work on the picture, and thanks to Dan for posting that picture up here, I was able to add the door, and all the way to the jam that seperates the two hallways!See what you think:William (the Bloody)

Can't imagine they would have a furnace blasting so hot that it would burn it like that from the inside. Seems rather unlikely. Although I did have a bed that went near black in parts from sitting against a furnace - so who knows.

I've been thinking about how to make that picture a little more complete, and will be working on it this weekend when I can get some time, if my wife doesn't have us visiting half the county for Christmas visits, heheheheheWilliam (the Bloody)
