Easy fixes:
Take the Imagineer tombstones out of the planters and put them on the hill. Put plants/urns in the planters.
Get rid of the Gus, Ezra, etc. tombstones on the hill.
Turn off the audio for the captain and especially the poetess.
Ditch the sign ("Her plaintive cries can still be heard") inside the poetess tomb
Change the audio for the composer tomb to something more faint and eerie.
Bring back the wolf/dog howl - nice and loud, played every 10 minutes or so.
Tweaks that would require more work:
Change the art on the composer tomb to something that looks more realistic and not out of the Beetlejuice cartoon.
Remove the "a touch of your hand brings his music to life" epitaph. Keep the other epitaph, but put it somewhere else on the tomb.
Get rid of the skulls, raven, etc. on the organ. Make the organ look like it's made of stone. If there have to be skulls, make them more abstract like those you see in the woodwork inside the HM.
Trash the poetess tomb and put the animated book in the library scene. If not, make the window that peers inside the tomb smaller and diminish the overactive books-pushing-out effect.
Move the Dread family to the exit or something.
